Umbagog headshots - a 'good-bye' present

Hey guys! I thought I should leave a note and a present here explaining myself before I just ride off into the sunset.

I’ve been thinking about leaving Umbagog for a while - between school and my personal projects, I haven’t had any time to do challenges. On top of that, I’ve struggled with political problems within the group as well, on many different fronts. In short, I’ve decided to leave because I no longer enjoy being part of Umbagog. Art is my hobby, not my career, or my passion for that matter. I have limited time for it, and I would like to spend that time on my own projects now. As far as the politics go, I don’t have any deep grudges or hatred for anyone involved, but I do feel I should leave on a good note.

I’m going to leave my writing and art in the group, unless I’m asked to remove them - you guys can use them as example challenges or whatever they’d like to. Jade, Tom, Dingo, and Bailey also completely fair game for NPC’s, but keep in mind - my personal project (a comic) features all three of them as supporting characters (yes, as humans, as I portrayed them in the group). Please don’t try to claim them as your own characters, use them in for profit without my permission, or something equally stupid; if the comic works out and I end up publishing, those will be my copyrighted characters and I won’t hesitate to take legal action. Of course, that doesn’t extend to using them in plots and challenges, as long as you make it clear that those character belong to me.

This has been an awesome experience for me, and I’ve learned a lot from all of you guys. I hope you all understand my reasons for leaving the group, and I haven’t left any hard feelings behind me. I’m still going to be active - if anything, more active - on my DA account and of course my Tumblr account, so feel free to drop me a line if you have any concerns. My decision is final, I can tell you that much, but I’m certainly not about to shut anyone out. This is a shout-out to all my long-time rp partners that I met in this group, and the characters I interacted with.
